After several years in large companies, I wanted to get to know the dynamics in SMEs. As COO and member of the Executive Board, I was responsible for setting up a start-up for a company that manufactures technical equipment for the food industry. I learned very quickly how important it is to win employees over to a vision and inspire them for a cause.
The call of the industry, with the realization that sustainable success can only be achieved in harmony with strategy, structure and employees, people management, strategy, organizational and cultural development became my passion. With my practical experience and in-depth training in leadership, coaching and change management, I have worked for over 30 years in management positions and as a member of the executive board in a wide range of industries such as aviation, automotive, semiconductors and optics, chemicals and the renewable energy sector. This time was characterized by a variety of international reorganization and change projects, which I was able to lead and support.
Thanks to my wide-ranging experience based on empathy and appreciation, I accompanied the company management, but also experts and managers at all management levels, as a sparring partner and coach. I can well understand how “lonely” it can sometimes be at the top of a company, what questions and uncertainties can arise and I know the many different perspectives that can be taken in order to approach a seemingly unsolvable topic and to recognize possible solutions – especially in questions that concern the very personal life situation in the current context.
